Panax ginseng grows slowly, and only in shade. Each autumn its stem dies back and leaves a scar on the root’s neck — one for every year it has grown. Korean growers traditionally wait six years before harvesting. This hoodie is a study in patience.

PANAX GINSENG / THE STORY

Six years in the shade.

Ginseng takes six years to be worth harvesting. It grows slowly, only in shade, and marks every year it survives with a scar on its root. This hoodie carries it as a botanical specimen plate: a full engraving of the plant across the back, annotated like a field guide, with the Brew Sensei kirameki mark on the chest.
